Google Workspace
Connect Google Workspace to Frevana to work with Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Sheets, Docs, and Slides through conversation.
Before you begin
Complete Google Connect setup. When your Agent team asks, provide the Google Cloud Project ID, Client ID, and Client Secret from that setup. Keep the Client Secret private.
Permissions
Initial setup requests read-only access so you can view supported content. Actions such as sending email or creating calendar events may require additional authorization. Review each Google permission request and approve only the access you intend to grant.
Before asking your Agent team to send, edit, or delete anything, review the proposed action and make sure it matches your intent.
What you can do
| Service | Examples |
|---|---|
| Gmail | Read and search messages, draft replies, and send email. |
| Google Drive | Find files, list recent documents, and organize folders. |
| Calendar | View events, check availability, and create meetings. |
| Sheets | Read spreadsheet data, create sheets, and update cells. |
| Docs | Read document content and create documents. |
| Slides | Read presentation content and create slide decks. |
Some actions may require additional permissions.
Try asking
- “Show my unread emails.”
- “Find the Q4 report in my Drive.”
- “What’s on my calendar today?”
- “What’s in my Budget 2026 spreadsheet?”
- “Create a meeting with Sarah tomorrow at 2 p.m.”
- “Send an email to [email protected] about the project update.”
- “Create a new Google Doc called Meeting Notes.”
To check that your connection is working, try asking “Show my unread emails.” You can also combine requests, such as checking your availability and drafting an email with open times.
To switch Google accounts, ask your Agent team: “Help me reconnect my Google account.”
