Google Search Console
Use Frevana to explore search performance, inspect URLs, and review sitemap status through conversation.
Before you begin
- Complete Google Connect setup and provide your Project ID, Client ID, and Client Secret when prompted.
- Make sure your site is verified in Google Search Console and that the Google account you connect has Owner or Full access to the property.
- Enable the Search Console API in the Google Cloud project you used for setup.
What you can do
| Area | Examples |
|---|---|
| Search queries | Explore clicks, impressions, click-through rate, and position. |
| URL inspection | Check indexing status and investigate reported crawl issues. |
| Sitemaps | Review submitted sitemaps and their status. |
| Performance | Compare periods or filter by country, device, and search type. |
Try asking
- “What are my top search queries this month?”
- “How is my /pricing page performing in search?”
- “Compare my search traffic this month with last month.”
- “Is my new blog post indexed?”
- “Are there any crawl errors on my site?”
- “Show my sitemap status.”
Troubleshooting
“API not enabled”
Open the Search Console API page, select the Google Cloud project used for the connection, and select Enable.
“Site permission denied” or “Property not found”
Confirm that the connected Google account has access to the property. Check that you’ve selected the correct property and URL; URL-prefix properties distinguish between different protocols and hostnames.
note
Search Console reports can be delayed by a few days, so the most recent data may not be available yet.
